Guiding Question How Did Numerous Population Relocations in the mid to late 20th century Impact the Marshallese?
A Collection of My Explorations while Researching this Topic.

Inquiry Structure: Presented to outline my research as I attempted to follow an inquiry model

This project was designed to fit into the cyclical structure of inquiry presented here.

Ask:

I initially asked the question: How Did Numerous Population Relocations in the mid to late 20th century Impact the Marshallese?

Investigate:

I researched web sites, print items, and online movies available. I investigated several timelines available about the movement of the Marshallese over the decade of nuclear testing and subsequent years.

This led me to ask about how it is that these little islets make up one entire atoll and how the environment varies on each islet. Soooo....I was led to ask again: What is an atoll? and How would this affect the movement of peoples in the Marshalls?

Create:

I offer this web collection of my explorations while Researching this Topic. I created this site, a revised timeline, and a spreadhseet to organize what I had learned from various sources.

Discuss:

I welcome critiques, additions, questions, and comments about this collection. Contact me via this form.

Reflect:

I am reflecting upon things that I can add to my process of inquiry and thus posing new questions. My reflection has been added to this site in two formats:

MS Word and Adobe (.pdf)
