Detailed Description:

The purpose of the titration is to determine the concentration of acetic acid when the concentration of the base with which is titrated is known. Students will learn how to weigh a sample by using a balance, measure volumes using a graduated cylinder, learn the technique of titration by using a buret, and in the end calculate the concentration of the acid using their mathematical skills. This should be done in groups of 4 students and repeated twice for accuracy.
