Project Description:

This project focuses on the development of web-based tools for teaching the fundamentals of computational science and engineering.  The resulting instructional modules could be used for individual self-study or in conjunction with workshops, short courses, or regular academic courses at various levels and in various disciplines.  Initial focus is on scientific computing, but additional technical areas will be included later.

Description of Deliverables:

Primary deliverable is a set of interactive instructional modules that illustrate basic concepts in scientific computing.  Each module is written in Java, is accessible from a web browser, features an interactive graphical user interface, and illustrates an important concept or method in scientific computing.
