Prerequisites - Before attempting this process you
should posess:
- The ability to make Geometer's Sketchpad sketches
- Access to a server or someone who has this access
- Basic computer and computer file (location) knowledge
- Can you find your files?
Materials - Before proceeding you should have (or
have downloaded) on your computer the following:
Step-by-step Directions: Fire up GSP and get going...it's
easy to make JSP sketches.

Now...Open the "testjava.htm"
with you Web browser.

FAQs: What should you do if...
- What if I do not have Geometer's Sketchpad on
my computer?
- What if I do not have access to a (my) web server?
- You should get access to someone who has
this access or contact Jim Dildine
(he can serve your files or offer additional alternatives).
- Why do I need the GSP->JSP converter?
- Because this converter takes components of
the GSP sketches and changes them into Java code which is read by the
browser.
- Why do some of my sketches look differently in
the browser from how they look in the sketch?
- The Java version of sketchpad does not support
all the intricate programming that GSP has embedded. Hence, it is an Alpha
test program (not ready for prime time). What do you want to have changed?
What would you like to see supported? Example: I really want to see more
possibilities with length measurements (beyond pixels). That is not supported
yet.
