Opinions on the After School Tutoring/Homework Help Program

Twenty-three parents responded to the survey in Spring 2008. The students are classified by gender and year in school as in the table below. No seniors were reported taking part in the program in Spring.

As the table below indicates, in Spring 2008, 14 of the parents responded Yes, with 6 undecided and 5 stating No.

The chart below presents the comparative data for Fall and Spring. There is evidence of a slight increase in positive response for Spring.

  • My child and I talk about the After School Tutoring/ Homework Help Program

As the table below indicates, in Spring 2008, 20 of the parents responded "Yes", 0 were undecided and 5 reported "No". The chart for these data indicates somewhat of an increase from Fall to Spring in tendency of parents and children to talk about the program.

As the graph indicates, mathematics and science are more frequently mentioned in Spring 2008 as the subjects in which the students are doing better as a result of the program.
