Spring 2009 Bethel Community Teacher Survey

Bethel Teacher/Volunteer Survey of Students in After School Program

A total of 63 students were reported on in spring 2009.

Teacher/volunteer was asked, Has this student..

Had a positive attitude toward school/after school program?
Improved in coming to after school program ready/prepared to learn?
Improved in being attentive?
Improved in getting along well with other students?

Each student is assigned a score of 1 for yes, and 0 for no, for each of the four aspects of attitude. The chart below shows the proportion of Yes scores for Spring 2009. The results show that the students were rated almost uniformly highly in attitude.

Teacher/volunteers were also asked to report the subject on which each student spent most time during the after school program. Results are in chart below. In Spring 2009, English/reading was reported being most studied.
