FUTURE Foundation Teacher/Volunteer Survey of Students in After School Program

Teacher was asked, of each student named,

During Spring 2007, has this student...:

  • Had a positive attitude toward school/after school program
  • Improved in coming to after school program ready/prepared to learn.
  • Improved in being attentive
  • Improved in getting along well with other students.

Each student is assigned a score of 1 for yes, and 0 for no, for each of the four aspects of attitude.

The chart below shows the proportion of Yes scores for Spring 2007. (A total of 28 students were reported upon.)

In spring 2007, teacher/volunteers were asked to report the subject on which each student spent most time during the after school program. As the table below shows, the majority of the students reported spending most time in the after school program on Mathematics.
