Heron's Formula: Explanation: The Area for a triangle can be computed using the three sides of a triangle. This formula is attributed to Heron of Alexandria but can be traced back to Archimedes.

This formula is represented by
Area=SQRT(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)),
where s=(a+b+c)/2 or perimeter/2.

Pythagorean Triples Generator: The Pythagorean Theorem is established as a²+b²=c²  Given a RIGHT Triangle where a and b are the lengths of the legs and c is the length of the hypotenuse.  We can define any a,b,and c that fits these criteria to be Pythagorean Triples. Looking at 3, 4, and 5 we have 3² + 4² = 5² or 9 + 16 = 25. This is the first in a long string of Pythagorean Triples.

Prime Factorization is the process by which a whole number is broken down to its least prime factors. To do this we start with its very least prime factor that we know. Then we proceed in a similar manner until we get a sequence of factors that are prime and when multiplied give us the original whole number.
