Director Emeritus of the Office for Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education (MSTE), College of Education, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a model-builder for innovative, standards-based, technology-intensive mathematics and science instruction at the K-16 levels. The Office serves as a campus-wide catalyst for integrative teaching and learning in mathematics, science, and technology education. MSTE activities include workshops around the state of Illinois, the design and development of courses in the use of technology in mathematics instruction, and maintaining the MSTE Web site, which activities, attracts over two million hits and nearly one hundred thousand user sessions each month.
