Topics covered last summer in the Math camp included:
- Measuring distances/heights, velocities, and accelerations of projectiles dropped or thrown straight up in the air.
- Building and launching model rockets.
- Measuring density of various objects.
- Measuring the thickness of aluminum foil from density information.
- Building paper/tape boats to hold a maximum # of pennies using the concepts of buoyancy and density to improve the design.
