Bloom High School Summer 2008

REFS is a summer program that is designed to help preparing incoming freshmen to be successful in English/Reading and mathematics.

The table below summarizes the number of students reported on by their teachers in Summer 2008:

Various aspects of student progress in school were asked, including whether s/he:

Was Attentive
Got along well with other students
Attended regularly
Participated in class
Came to class ready to learn
Made good academic progress

As the chart and table below show, the teachers tended to agree that, by and large, the REFs students in English/reading were attentive, but slightly less so in mathematics.
