Opinions on the After School Tutoring/Homework Help Program

The numbers of parents responding in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 are summarized in the table below. Roughly the same number of parents responded each semester

As the table below indicates, in Spring 2008, 18 of the parents responded Yes, with 1 undecided and 4 stating No.

The chart below presents the comparative data for Fall and Spring. There is evidence of a slight increase in positive response for Spring.

As the table below indicates, in Spring 2009, 19 of the parents responded "Yes", 0 were undecided and 4 reported "No". The chart for these data indicates somewhat of an increase from Fall to Spring in tendency of parents and children to talk about the program.

As the graph indeicates, science is more frequently mentioned in Spring 2009 as the subject which the students are doing better as a result of the program
