Opinions on the After School Tutoring/Homework Help Program

Eleven of the parents responded in Fall 2008 and five responded in Spring 2009.

Parents were asked:

  • As a result of the program, does your (s/he) child look forward to going to school?
  • As the table and chart below indicate, 8 parents responded YES in Fall 2008 and 3 said YES in Spring 2009. These are roughly the same percentages. A slight increase in Undecided was found in Spring.

  • . My child and I talk about the After School Tutoring/ Homework Help Program

As the table below indicates, in Spring 2009, almost all of the parents responded "Yes", 0 were undecided and one reported "No". The chart for these data indicates a very slight increase from Fall to Spring in tendency of parents and children to talk about the program.
