The after school program provides activites for adults as well as for students

Adults attending the activites at Bloom Train HS completed a survey providing feedback on what was offered.

The table below shows the activites provided in Fall 2009 and the number of persons attending each.

Activity No. Attendees
Keeping up with Technology 4
Signs of Drug Activity 1
One Pot Cooking 6
Keeping Active 1
Power Breakfast 3
Reading Your Child's Academic Record 2
Study Tips 3
Total 20
The adults were asked whether, for each activity:
  • Did the activity meet its objectives?
  • Did the activity met your expectations
  • Was the environment conductive to learning
  • Were the instructional methods effective

A YES response was assigned a value of 1 in the coding. The table below shows that all of the adults responded YES to each question. It is therefore concluded that the adults were positive about each activity.

The adults were also asked for comments about the activity provided. Their responses indicate that their positive reactions were due mainly to the quality teaching that was provided
