The Illinois Science & Technology Coalition (ISTC) has featured some TCIP projects, including the TCIP Education applets, in their November issue of Catalyst. The Illinois Science & Technology Coalition's main goal is to "cultivate econimic development in Illinois by increasing resources for Research & Development initiatives at Illinois-based institutions and businesses." November's Catalyst focuses on new policies and research on the Smart Grid.
