Upcoming Zone VII Local Physical Science Alliance Meeting

This year's second meeting in Zone VII of the Local Physical Science Alliance initiative by the Illinois Section of AAPT (ISAAPT) takes place on:

Thursday February 9, 6PM - 8PM
Office of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education
505 E. Green Street, Champaign, IL 61820
Room 201

The theme of the meeting is the teaching of forces and momentum in high school physics. Teachers will share ideas and materials, and a series of simple but illustrative experiments will be shown and discussed.

MSTE Friday Lunch Series, January 27- George Reese & Debra Woods

We will be kicking off our Friday lunch series for this semester this Friday with a presentation from George Reese and Debra Woods. Last November George and Debra traveled to New Zealand for the 8th Volcanic Delta Conference. This conference was about the teaching and learning of undergraduate math and statistics. Come to hear more about it!
