Pythagorean Triples Generator: The Pythagorean Theorem is established as a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2 }Given a RIGHT Triangle where a and b are the lengths of the legs and c is the length of the hypotenuse. We can define any a,b,and c that fits these criteria to be Pythagorean Triples. Looking at 3, 4, and 5 we have 3^{2} + 4^{2} = 5^{2} or 9 + 16 = 25. This is the first in a long string of Pythagorean Triples. |
Prime Factorization is the process by which a whole number is broken down to its least prime factors. To do this we start with its very least prime factor that we know. Then we proceed in a similar manner until we get a sequence of factors that are prime and when multiplied give us the original whole number. |
