3. What to expect on the listservs: a review of some messages and conversation threads.

4. Subscribe to nctm-l and MIDDLE-L listservs
   • NCTM-L: send message to . The body of the message should be "subscribe nctm-l"

   • MIDDLE-L: send message to . The body of the message should be "subscribe MIDDLE-L your_first_name your_last_name". You will be sent a letter asking for confirmation. You will need to reply to it by sending a message with "ok" in the body.
   NOTE: on the listservs, be sure you save the messages that are sent to you confirming your subscription. They will be necessary when you want to unsubscribe.
